With forecasts of a cold and harsh winter and continued soaring gas prices, the Biden gang announced on Monday they’re considering closing down a second American pipeline. This will add to the financial hardship for millions of low to middle income households who will undoubtedly see skyrocketing heating oil prices within the coming months.
The announcement in perhaps closing the Michigan oil pipeline while gas prices have tripled since Biden has been in office, speaks volumes in how this administration has abandoned America’s energy independence, for a convoluted and abstract theory concerning Climate Change. It does nothing to actually address those countries that willfully pollute the environment, namely China and India.
According to the Daily Mail, the administration is mulling over requests by a number of Native American tribes in canceling the nearly 80-year old pipeline, owned by a Canadian company called Enbridge.
On Friday, the Biden-Harris administration received a letter from tribal leaders asking the administration to terminate the pipeline, referencing it as an “existential threat to our treaty-protected rights, resources, and fundamental way of life.”
The tribes also called on President Biden to honor his campaign promise to “protect… fundamental interests.”
They argue the oil pipeline infringes on the 1836 Treaty of Washington, “which ceded Ojibwe and Odawa lands in Michigan in exchange for fishing, hunting and gathering rights on the treaty territory.”
However, Jason Hayes, director of environmental policy at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, warns the Biden gang that terminating the pipeline violates an agreement between Canada and the United States. That agreement has been in effect for decades, which allows for the free flow of oil between both countries
Ohio Congressman Bob Latta, authored a letter which was signed by 13 Republican lawmakers, urging Biden to keep the pipeline in operation. “Line 5 is essential to the lifeblood of the Midwest.”

Adding; “Should this pipeline be shut down, tens of thousands of jobs would be lost across Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and the region; billions of dollars in economic activity would be in jeopardy; and the environment would be at greater risk due to additional trucks operating on roadways and railroads carrying hazardous materials,” the legislators wrote.
“Furthermore, as we enter the winter months and temperatures drop across the Midwest, the termination of Line 5 will undoubtedly further exacerbate shortages and price increases in home heating fuels like natural gas and propane at a time when Americans are already facing rapidly rising energy prices, steep home heating costs, global supply shortages, and skyrocketing gas prices.”
Meanwhile, in between bouts of laughter, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, announced that the price of a gallon of gas could reach $4.00.
When asked by a reporter Granholm responded; “Well, we certainly hope not.”
Adding; “The president is all over this. Of course, every president is frustrated because they can’t control the price of gasoline, because it’s a global market. You can call upon increased supply, which he has done,” she continued. “And OPEC is, unfortunately, controlling the agenda with respect to oil prices. OPEC is a cartel and it controls over 50% of the supply of gasoline,” Granholm claimed.
Mind you, this is the same administration that within days of occupying the Oval Office shut down Keystone XL pipeline, displacing thousands of good paying American jobs, and stopping what was expected to be 830,000 barrels of crude oil from Alberta, Canada, down to Nebraska.
To make matters even more perplexing, the Biden gang lifted Russian sanctions imposed by the Trump administration on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, a massive pipeline running between Russia and Germany, virtually giving Russia a dominant strategic stronghold in Europe, while boosting their economy.
Biden has also been begging OPEC to increase oil production, which they’ve refused to do.
This fool has enriched our adversaries, while endangering our national security interests, by allowing our enemies to control a vital and strategic commodity.
