Former Republican congressmen Lou Barletta, if elected as the next governor of Pennsylvania, has vowed to implement Governor Ron DeSantis’ ingenious plan of busing illegal aliens out of the Keystone State to President Biden’s home state of Delaware.
In an exclusive interview on Saturday with Breitbart News, the 65-year old Pennsylvania native revealed that he would take similar action to that of Gov. Ron DeSantis, using his executive powers as governor to rid the Commonwealth of illegal aliens smuggled into Pennsylvania in the dead-of-night by the White House.
Several weeks ago, the Florida governor announced 6 key proposals, along with an emergency order, directed at companies and other non-government organizations (NGOs) operating within the state of Florida, which are facilitating in the transportation and housing of illegal migrants.
DeSantis’s executive order bans the issuance or renewal of all state licenses to Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) facilities that are working in tandem with the federal government in transporting and resettling illegal migrants within the state.
Additionally, DeSantis’s immigration agenda includes financially crippling any NGO facility within the state of Florida that attempts to aid the Biden White House.
DeSantis also wants $8 million dollars to transport and resettle illegal aliens dumped in the sunshine state, back to Biden’s Delaware and Martha’s Vineyard, where former President Obama resides.
After reviewing DeSantis’ plan, Barletta announced, “We’re not going to be accepting illegal aliens from the border.”
“They’re shutting down businesses, making you take a vaccine that you don’t want, putting masks on your kids all day long, and yet they’re letting people come in from the border and shipping them to Pennsylvania and other states with no idea with what their health conditions are,” Barletta continued. “That all comes to an end when I’m governor.”

Barletta noted that, logistically, Pennsylvania is in close proximity to Delaware, which makes transporting illegal aliens out of the Commonwealth a lot more cost-effective than it would be for Florida.
Barletta stated, “Gov. DeSantis is doing a great job in Florida … yes, I would take the same steps that Gov. DeSantis did.”
“Pennsylvania is a lot closer to Delaware, so busing those folks to Delaware will cost us a lot less than it’s costing [DeSantis] to ship people from Florida … it’s not a long ride from Philadelphia to Wilmington,” Barletta said. “That’s exactly what we have to do.”
Back in 2006, Barletta was the mayor of Hazleton. He had passed one of the first city-wide ordinances of its kind, allowing him to fine landlords who knowingly rent to illegal aliens. He also instituted the use of E-Verify, requiring all businesses within the city to use the app so that all jobs posted would be taken by local citizens and legal immigrants.
“We need to know the background of people, we need to know their criminal background, we need to know their health background,” Barletta said. “I’m going to stand up for the people of Pennsylvania just like I did for the people of Hazleton.
“One of the things I did in Hazleton was to stop the business permits of people who were hiring illegal workers at the expense of our own workers. There are tools that I will use that others have not and we’re going to put an end to this nonsense.”
