Radical left-winger Joy Behar, one of the co-hosts of ABC’s “The View,” told the other co-hosts on the program that President Joe Biden should be given the “benefit of the doubt” concerning classified documents that were discovered in his office while former President Donald Trump should be raked over the coals over the same kind of information found at his Florida estate.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is what hypocrisy looks like. Behar and other Democrats who are of the same kind of mind have a clear double standard, one that applies only to their political enemies and not to those on their own side of the spectrum. And yet, they don’t find this kind of thing to be intellectually inconsistent. Again, this is what makes liberals look like they might have some kind of mental illness that disconnects them from reality.
According to Breitbart, co-host Whoopi Goldberg went on to say, “So the White House says it’s been cooperating with the National Archives and the Justice Department’s review since November after discovering classified documents from when the president was the VP. They were locked in his old office.”
“Aside from the facts that Biden turned over the documents as soon as they were found and has been cooperating with authorities unlike some folks who had to have a subpoena and said they had turned over everything. You know, we don’t know anything about the nature of this, OK, so let’s keep that in mind. But I’m just saying, calm down a little bit, there are perhaps differences here. The optics aren’t necessarily the best. So is it good news for you-know-who?” She added.
Behar replied by saying, “Not really. I think what you just said is right. There are differences in what happened. We all know that Trump is a liar and a thief, you know, we know that. So it’s not that big a jump to say he obstructed and he lied. We don’t think Biden is a liar and a thief we give him the benefit of the doubt. That’s probably what’s going on.”
President Joe Biden released a statement about the discovery of the documents, according to the Daily Wire, after he was asked about the documents during a joint press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
“People know I take classified documents or classified information seriously,” Biden responded. “When my lawyers were clearing out my office at the University of Pennsylvania, they set up an office for me, secure office in the capital when I, for four years after being vice president, I was a professor at Penn. They found some documents in a box, you know, a locked cabinet, or at least a closet. And as soon as they did, they realized there were several classified documents in that box.”
“And they did what they should have done,” Biden stated. “They immediately called the Archives, immediately called the Archives, turned them over to the Archives.”
The president then revealed that he was “surprised to learn that there are any government records that were taken there to that office.”
Of course he is, likely because dementia has erased any and all memories he has over ever taking the files to that location.
“But I don’t know what’s in the documents,” Biden continued. “I’ve — my lawyers have not suggested I ask what documents they were. I’ve turned over the boxes. They’ve turned over the boxes to the Archives. And we’re cooperating fully, cooperating fully with the review and which I hope will be finished soon. And there’ll be more detail at that time.”

If leftists want to be taken seriously, they need to stop with the insanity and be consistent in the application of their standards of integrity. Hold your own side to the same principles you claim to believe in, otherwise, you aren’t worth legitimate consideration on the battlefield of ideas.
