In hilarious case of irony, House Democrats desperately attempted to slap proverbial duct tape over the mouth of Robert Kennedy Jr., who is currently running for president as a Democrat, during a hearing on censorship. I mean, did the left seriously not see the connection here? How stupid do you have to be try censoring someone during a hearing on that very topic? The lack of brain power and intelligence possessed by individuals on the liberal side of the spectrum never ceases to amaze me.
According to the Daily Wire, Florida Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz — there’s a name we haven’t heard in a while — made a motion to shift the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government hearing on Thursday to executive session “because Mr. Kennedy has repeatedly made despicable anti-Semitic and anti-Asian comments as recently as last week.”
In the world of combat sports and martial arts, there’s a term called a “telegraph.” This is where an opponent does something, moves in a certain way, that reveals the technique they are about to use, which enables you to block or counterstrike that technique. Radical progressives telegraph all the time.
You immediately know they are threatened by someone when they toss out the race card against them. It’s a dead giveaway. You then know the individual they are slandering poses a risk to their agenda and ideology, and thus you know how they are going to try and discredit that person and twist what they say in order to shut that individual down.
That’s what is happening in this scenario with RFK.
Wasserman Schultz then cited a House Rule against testimony that is found to “defame, degrade, or incriminate” any person “which would allow the committee an aside to determine whether to allow such testimony during the open hearing. Wasserman Schultz referred to remarks Kennedy recently made about COVID-19 being “ethnically targeted” to spare Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people, which the candidate says has been misconstrued,” the Daily Wire reported.
“COVID-19, there is an argument that it is ethnically targeted. COVID-19 attacks certain races disproportionately,” Kennedy went on to say, according to a report published by The New York Post. “COVID-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.”

A vote took place after Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massie made a move to table the motion, with GOP Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana, making a point of order to ask “Is it the custom of this committee to censor viewpoints that we disagree with from witnesses?”
Here’s more from DW:
By a 10-8 vote, the GOP majority’s motion to table succeeded, allowing the hearing to continue as planned. Massie, when he voted in favor of proceeding, said he was a “yes, to not censor.” Some Democrats also tacked on comments to their vote, including Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), who said, “No to the Soviet Politburo,” and Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), who said, “No to hate speech.”
Kennedy, who has reached up to roughly 19% support in 2024 Democratic Party primary polling, delivered an opening statement in which he insisted that he has “never uttered a phrase that was either racist or anti-Semitic.” The witness held up a letter signed by 102 Democrats, including Wasserman Schultz and Goldman — who are two Jewish members of Congress — calling on Republicans to disinvite Kennedy from testifying at the hearing on censorship.
“This itself is evidence of the problem that this hearing was convened to address. This is an attempt to censor a censorship hearing,” he stated.

The hearing, presided over by Chairman Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, convened in order to “examine the federal government’s role in censoring Americans, the Missouri v. Biden case, and Big Tech’s collusion with out-of-control government agencies to silence speech.”
