Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has just revealed a very detailed plan on Thursday during a forum that would completely obliterate the “deep state,” and it includes totally shutting down the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, along with the Department of Education. However, those aren’t the only two organizations on the chopping block. The Federal Bureau of Investigation would then be axed as well. And folks, that is absolutely the right call to make, especially after everything that has come to light over the last couple of years.
The FBI is no longer dedicated to the mission of helping to enforce federal law and assist local law enforcement departments with cases that cross state lines and would tax their resources. Instead, thanks to President Joe Biden and the leadership of Attorney General Merrick Garland at the Justice Department, the bureau is now a political weapon designed to target enemies of the progressive agenda. If you don’t think that is true, look at how hard the FBI has gone to attack former President Donald Trump in an attempt to destroy his 2024 presidential campaign. They are making an example of him to try and intimidate regular conservative Americans into remaining silent.
According to the Daily Caller’s latest report, “Ramaswamy billed the event, which streamed live on YouTube, as a means to explain how he would ‘shut down the deep state.’ Ramaswamy previously expressed support for shutting down the FBI following the release of a report by Special Counsel John Durham on the origins of the FBI investigation of allegations that former President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign colluded with Russia.”
“’This is the head of the snake when it comes to the spread of wokeism, transgenderism, indoctrination of our kids,’ Ramaswamy went on to say during the event, just before making a reference to parental protests at school board meetings, which became a hot-button political issue in 2021 over the use of critical race theory, which holds that America is fundamentally racist, and teaches people to view every social interaction and person in terms of race. Parents across the country also raised objections to books with sexually explicit content in recent years, prompting some states to act to remove them from schools,” the report continued.
“The hard truth is that those school boards are actually responding to economic incentives created by this department,” Ramaswamy added, pointing out that the cash from the Department of Education is often conditioned on the adoption and integration of critical race theory, race-based quotas and “gender ideology.”
“I do not believe we can reform this agency,” Ramaswamy continued.
During the event, Ramaswamy also revealed that he was fully planning to close down the NRC, stating it was interfering with the U.S.’s ability to become energy independent.
“This is an agency that quietly is the single wet blanket, the damper on the revival of nuclear energy in the United States,” the presidential candidate said, saying that through the NRC, building a nuclear power plant is a process with over 32 steps that takes almost 4 decades to complete. Prior to the NRC, this only took three to four years.
“That’s why there has not been a single new nuclear power plant built in this country in the last 30 years,” Ramaswamy explained. “There has not been a new nuclear power plant’s plan that has made it through this 32-step process since this organization ever came to exist.”
