Caroline Polisi, a legal analyst for MSNBC, stated on Thursday that the case brought against former President Donald Trump by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is now completely, utterly, 100 percent dead on arrival. Not only that, but all of the dirt that has come out about Willis hiring her lover to work as a prosecutor on the case has proven the corruption within the Democratic Party runs deep. These people seemingly believe they are above the law and do not have to worry about the consequences of their actions. It’s a level of arrogance that staggers the mind. Fortunately, it seems as if the concept of “reaping what you sow” is finally coming to pass for many liberals.
Polisi stated that her assessment of the situation is tied to the massive truth bomb that was revealed on Thursday morning, which was that Willis was already romantically involved with her special prosecutor Nathan Wade far earlier than she actually admitted in court. Oh man, so she committed perjury too? Yikes. Things are really going to get bad for Willis. But again, she brought it on herself.
BREAKING: MSNBC Legal Analyst: “This is monumental. If things are going in the direction we think, Fani Willis lied to the court, it’s game over for her. She will be disqualified” pic.twitter.com/rqXdeNyPqt

“Don’t let the legalese fool you. This is epic. This is monumental,” Polisi stated during her conversation on MSNBC. “If things are going in the direction we think, Fani Willis lied to the court, it’s game over for her. She will be disqualified. If they had a relationship prior to when they represented truth to the court, it’s a huge deal. I can’t overstate.”
The legal analyst then took to X/Twitter where she summarized her earlier statements on air, saying, “Fani Willis’s case is OVER. She lied to the court. Case closed.”

“Fani Willis and Nathan Wade lied to the Court. Game over. The case is DEAD,” she added, according to the Daily Wire.

Here’s more from the report:
Polisi gave an additional statement to Mediaite, explaining just how damaging the fallout could be for the case against Trump if Willis were to be disqualified.
“Willis will be disqualified, which means her entire office is disqualified, which means the case will have to be re-assigned and languish with the PAC of Georgia, effectively killing the case. Her credibility is completely shot,” she said.
According to the testimony of a former Fulton County DA employee — who has been friends with Willis since they were in college — the romantic relationship between Willis and Wade began in 2019. That testimony directly contradicts the sworn statements from both Willis and Wade, who have claimed that any romantic relationship between them did not begin until 2022.
NEW: Former Fulton County DA employee and friend of Fani Willis since college says she was definitely in a relationship with Nathan Wade since 2019.
This completely contradicts the filings of Wade and Willis in which they claimed it began in 2022.

However, if Willis did indeed give a false statement to the court, getting disqualified from the Trump case is small potatoes to the consequences she might face as knowingly providing the court with a false statement comes with a penalty of up to 5 years in prison plus a $1,000 fine. Trying to cover her own backside might send her to the Big House for a nice, long vacation. And I’m pretty sure the folks who are in prison, some of whom were possibly put there by Willis herself, do not treat corrupt prosecutors too kindly.

Guess we’ll find out what kind of consequences she’s going to face as the story continues to unravel.
