The mental illness of progressivism has once again reared its ugly head, this time claiming a life in the process. If you didn’t think liberalism was dangerous before, you should believe it is now. According to a report from BizPacReview, a member of the United States military, acting on his sympathies for radical terrorist organization Hamas in Gaza, made a declaration of the “ruling class” as he lit himself on fire outside of the Israeli Embassy located in Washington, D.C.
The man later succumbed to his injuries and passed away. He died on behalf of a group of people who murder others in cold-blood for not joining their sick and twisted religion, who would gladly, without a second thought, pump him full of lead or cut his head off. All of the propaganda pushed by the left indoctrinated this member of the armed services to believe Israel are the bad guys and the actual bad guys, terrorists, were the good guys. So much so, he gave his life for them. What a shame.
More from the report:
Early Sunday afternoon, the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to an incident outside the embassy to assist United States Secret Service members after a man had set himself on fire. That man, who had identified himself as U.S. Air Force member Aaron Bushnell, had live streamed his “extreme act of protest” accompanied by a series of anti-Israel commentary.
As seen in the viral video, circulating in censored and uncensored versions, the airman wore his uniform as he approached a gate outside the embassy carrying an open thermos explaining, “I’m an active duty member of the United States Air Force and I will no longer be complicit in genocide. I am about to engage in an extreme act of protest.”
“But, compared to what people have been experiencing in Palestine at the hands of their colonizers, it’s not extreme at all. This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal,” he went on to say before putting the camera down and standing in front of the gate.
Once there, he doused himself in liquid, donned his hat and pulled a lighter from his pocket as he sought to ignite himself, as an authority off camera could be heard asking, “May I help you, sir?”
The airman set ablaze the puddle of liquid at his feet rather than his clothes and began shouting “Free Palestine” while transforming himself into a human torch in support of Palestine.
You can see the video of the incident here if you wish, but the footage is extremely graphic and uncensored.
Just 40 seconds after the flames washed over him, the service member collapsed as first responders rushed to the scene and attempted to put the fire out with an extinguisher. Another man can be seen holding a gun on the airman for security purposes.
MPD detailed that he was transported “by DC Fire and EMS to a local hospital…in critical condition” and that their Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit had “been requested to scene in reference to a suspicious vehicle” that was later cleared.
MPD’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) has also been requested to scene in reference to a suspicious vehicle that may be connected to the individual. This remains an active investigation at this time. (3/3)

The man was identified as Aaron Bushnell.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Air Force revealed the last message Bushnell left on his Facebook account that was in addition to the live stream. It read, “Many of us like to ask ourselves, ‘What would I do if I was alive during slavery? Or the Jim Crow South? Or apartheid? What would I do if my country was committing genocide?’ The answer is, you’re doing it. Right now.”
This is liberalism in action. You add liberal thinking, which is driven by emotion rather than logic and facts, to someone who has an unstable mind, and you get the tragedy that befell Bushnell. Why are conservatives fighting so hard against a woke military? Here’s your answer.
This was a cry for help from a man who had mental health challenges. It took him to a place where he committed suicide. An extreme example to be sure, but we could possibly extrapolate this and question how many of the protestors in general have mental health challenges.

Right on the money.
