At 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, a container ship rammed into one of the support beams holding up the Francis Scott Key Bridge located in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, which immediately led to the collapse of the entire structure into the Patapsco River, which is currently sitting at frigid temperatures. As you can probably already guess, there is a ton of speculation about what led to the crash, particularly concerning whether or not it was accidental or purposeful. Footage captured of the incident certainly seems to make it appear like the boat was deliberately steered into the bridge support.
One of the leading explanations for what happened is that the boat, which lost power twice just moments before the crash, was the victim of a cyberattack.
Looks deliberate to me. A cyber-attack is probable. WW3 has already started.. https://t.co/wLTGjT6ErN

The entire incident was captured on various live streams, although no audio of the collapse was recorded. Video evidence suggests that several vehicles fell into the river. However, there’s uncertainty about whether people were on the bridge during the collapse.
Despite initial reports attributing the collapse to the ship’s collision, conspiracy theories have emerged on social media platforms like X, with claims of deliberate intent.
The White House asserted that it was ‘closely monitoring’ the situation and that there was no indication of ‘any nefarious intent’ behind the Baltimore ship collapse. A White House official said, “Our hearts go out to the families of those who remain missing as a result of this horrific incident.”
Meanwhile, controversial social media personality, businessman, and former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate made some serious claims about the incident on social media platform X. “This ship was cyber-attacked. Lights go off and it deliberately steers towards the bridge supports. Foreign agents of the USA attack digital infrastructures. Nothing is safe. Black Swan event imminent,” he tweeted on X along with a live stream clip.
According to a report from the folks at the Daily Wire, Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefeld stated on Tuesday morning that a total of 8 individuals were on the bridge at the time of the incident. Two of those folks have been accounted for by emergency responders, including several dive teams, who are still, as of this writing, continuing to search for the other.
Wiedefeld stated that, as of now, all the evidence they have managed to gather in their investigation of the crash and subsequent collapse of the bridge “points to an accident.”
“The preliminary investigation points to an accident. We haven’t seen any credible evidence of a terrorist attack,” Maryland Democratic Governor Wes Moore stated concerning the situation.
Moore confirmed that the container ship’s crew issued a mayday and said the ship was experiencing issues with its power, Justin Fenton of the Baltimore Banner reported. Moore said the crew’s mayday signal meant transportation officials were able to stop more traffic from crossing over the bridge before the ship struck it.

It is easy to see from the footage why many people would think this was a deliberate crash. And while there are clear signs of some kind of malfunction on board the ship, the cause of that malfunction is what people are concerned about. And is their any wonder why? In the last few years we’ve seen Chinese spy balloons flying across the country. We’ve witnessed hundreds of thousands of people slip through the open border on a monthly basis since Joe Biden became president.
Many of those individuals are likely on the terrorist watch list.
Some might ask why, if this was a cyber attack or done on purpose, it was carried out so late at night when the potential casualty list would be minimal? Because the intent of the incident may not have been to kill people, but to cause chaos and disruption. Or simply a test of technology that could potentially be used to cause other such “accidents” only on a bigger, more deadly scale.
The bottom line is, we don’t know all the facts yet, thus, we can’t rule out anything at this point. Regardless, say a prayer for the families who might have just lost their loved ones in the collapse.
