Former Trump-era national security adviser retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn recently sat down for an interview with controversial conservative political commentator Alex Jones where he spoke about the recent boat crash that led to the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, saying, “Can we take the idea that this [Baltimore bridge collapse] was a terrorist attack off the table … and absolutely we cannot do that.”
There have been a lot of different theories floated around to try and explain what happened on the boat, which was carrying large shipping containers, that led to the crash into the bridge support, the two leading ones being that it was just a plain accident caused by malfunction or possibly negligence, or that it was the result of a cyber attack.
REPORT: There were no vehicles traveling on the Francis Scott Key Bridge when it fell into the ocean thanks to heroic police officers who jumped into action.
It has now been confirmed that the only people on the bridge when it collapsed was a pothole repair crew.

Flynn referred to the ship smashing into the bridge located at the Port of Baltimore a “black swan” event during the interview with Jones, according to Zero Hedge.

However, folks working in the White House and other agencies within the federal government have rushed to deny that the crash was not the result of a terrorist attack of any kind. Whenever the feds come out in droves to try and dispel narratives that fly in the face of the official story they are attempting to push, things start to smell a tad fishy. And given how many times in recent years we’ve been lied to by the powers that be, you can hardly blame someone for not buying what the administration is selling.
According to the report, a maritime job placement company known as BalticShipping reveals that the individuals who was chosen to be the captain of the container ship is a Ukrainian. Does that mean Ukraine was involved in the incident? Not necessarily. But it is certainly not a good look. It will most definitely hurt public opinion about whether or not we should continue to financially support the country in their battle against Russia. The answer to that is, of course, no. We are not responsible to pay for Ukraine and Russia’s conflict.
Zero Hedge then provided a snippet from Bloomberg Intelligence’s report which says:
The bulk of claims from the March 26 Baltimore bridge collapse will likely fall on reinsurers. The ship has about $3 billion of reinsurance coverage over a $100 million retention. Chubb is reported to be the lead insurer on the bridge’s property cover but might recover losses paid. We note it’s still early, and this will be a complex loss.
One of the biggest concerns, aside from the cause of the crash, is the impact this could potentially have on our supply chain. One of the industries that will be hit the hardest by the incident is automotive. New information has revealed that Mazda Motor and Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi Motors of North America, Volkswagon, and Subaru of America have the greatest amount of exposure to the Port of Baltimore.
“It’s a large port with a lot of flow through it, so it’s going to have an impact,” John Lawler, Ford Motor Co.’s chief financial officer, went on to say during an interview Tuesday on Bloomberg TV.
Lawler then added, “We’ll work on the workarounds. We’ll have to divert parts to other ports along the East Coast or elsewhere in the country.”
