Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has become one of the most important voices in our culture when it comes to fighting back against the insanity of the transgender cult that has swept across the planet, as it demands that the rest of us who aren’t completely off our rocker bow to their demands and accept and affirm their twisted way of looking at sexuality and gender. Who would’ve thought, right? Rowling is still a very liberal individual, but this particular issue has more or less become a huge focus of her time and energy right now, as she’s concerned that transgender ideology is attempting to erase women.
I believe she’s correct on that point, by the way.
In a recent development for Rowling, the author managed to force the BBC in the United Kingdom to issue her an apology after they ran a false report concerning comments she had made about transgender individuals, in which they fully admitted the reporting was “inaccurate,” while also lecturing journalists about how important it is to be accurate in their reporting.
Here’s more from Breitbart News:
In its original April 2 story, BBC Scotland reported that police declined to arrest Rowling for describing some transgender “women” as men. Apparently unhappy with the decision, the outlet erroneously claimed that the Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act 2021 “makes it a criminal offence to make derogatory comments based on disability, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or being intersex.”
The original, uncorrected story can be read here.
It turns out that the BBC’s reporting about the act was false, as editors admitted in a correction issued this week.
“This was inaccurate and we should have referred to the Act creating a new crime where it is an offence if someone communicates material or behaves in a threatening or abusive manner with the intention of ‘stirring up hatred’ based on these protected characteristics,” the BBC stated. “We apologise for any confusion caused and have reminded our teams of the importance of accuracy in our output.”
And this isn’t the first time that the BBC has had to swallow a piece of humble pie and admit they were inaccurate in their reporting about Rowling. It’s actually the third. Look, if it happens once, that could be an honest mistake. When it happens a second time, still might have been an oopsie, or maybe a misunderstanding. You do it third times, well, it kind of seems like you’re misrepresenting someone on purpose. And they very well could be. We know that a lot of media outlets are no longer driven by a desire to know and share the truth, but to craft narratives to push particular views and agenda.
Last year, the BBC apologized for calling Rowling “transphobic” on BBC Radio Scotland’s Good Morning Scotland show. The same year, the BBC apologized for failing to challenge a guest whose accused Rowling of pushing “transphobia” on Radio 4‘s “PM” show.
At the end of the day, it seems progressives have infected mainstream media outlets all over the world, seeking to poison the minds of the youth and anyone with enough soft, mushy brain tissue to actually buy the lies they’re selling.
Let’s hope Rowling continues to stand firm in her convictions.
