President Joe Biden has a well earned reputation for getting up on stage during public speaking events and rambling incoherently before eventually getting a case of the mumbles and really going off on barely understandable tangents, providing an ever-growing mountain of evidence he’s suffering from some sort of cognitive decline. And hey, you know, that’s understandable. He’s 80-years-old. We all experience deterioration as we age. Nothing wrong with that. What’s wrong here is that Biden is sitting in the highest office of the land while going through that natural process of decay. Not cool.
This was once again put on full display during a press conference Biden held in Vietnam on Sunday, when his rambling got so bad that whoever was in charge of his microphone cut him off. Oof.
Biden was asked during the presser about the fact he hadn’t had a conversation with Chinese president Xi Jinping in almost 10 months and if that might cause some problems in relations between the communist country and the United States.
The president answered that he had a meeting with China’s “number two person in India today,” before going off on a tangent where he said that Xi has “his hands full right now because of rampant unemployment among China’s youth,” before going off that already “off-path” tangent to another one saying, “I don’t know about you, but I’m going to bed.”
What?
I’m sorry, but what is he talking about? What does going to bed have to do with answering this very important question about a critical foreign policy issue? How can someone listen to this sort of thing and not think Biden is out of his gourd?
The president then really started to ramble, saying, “We talked about stability, we talked about the Third World, excuse me, the Southern Hemisphere has access to change. It wasn’t confrontational at all,” before the mic mercifully went dead and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, “Thank you, everybody. This ends the press conference. Thanks, everyone.”
Well, that was a total dumpster fire, wasn’t it?
Biden stated earlier in the event, “I’ll just follow my orders here. Staff, is there anybody that hasn’t spoken yet?” He then turned to a couple of reporters in attendance and stated, “I ain’t calling on you yet.”

Here’s more from The Daily Wire:
“My brother, he loves famous lines from movies that he always quotes. One of them is there’s a movie about John Wayne, he’s an Indian scout, and there trying to get one of the tribes of America back on the reservation, and they’re on their horses and their saddles, and there are three or four Indians in headdresses and the Union solider basically saying ‘We’ll take care of you, everything’ll be good,’ and the Indian looks at John Wayne and points to the Union soldier and says, ‘He’s a lying dog-faced pony soldier.’”
“Well, there’s a lot of lying dog-faced pony soldiers out there about global warming,” Biden continued. “But not anymore. All of a sudden, they’re all realizing it’s a problem.”
Biden has used that story before, in 2018, talking about North Dakota GOP Senator Kevin Cramer, and again in 2020 at a campaign event in New Hampshire, when he called a young woman the same thing. Although Biden has repeatedly used that story, there has not been any conclusive evidence of such a scene. Slate pointed out in February 2020 that the story is possibly a conflation of one John Wayne movie in which a Native American chief calls Tyrone Power a “pony soldier,” saying he’s lying, and another in which a narrator calls Wayne and members of the U.S. cavalry “Dog-faced soldiers.”
I don’t know about you, but this is humiliating, not just for Biden himself, but for our entire country, as he is considered to be our representative to the rest of the world. Clearly, this man cannot function properly in the role of president, therefore, he should be voted out of office next year. There’s just no way he can do the job.
Let’s hope God has mercy on us and delivers us out of the hands of an elderly man who should be retired and in bed by 4 p.m.
