On Monday, Donald Trump became the 47th President of the United States and the contrast between his leadership and former President Joe Biden — boy, does it ever feel satisfying to say that — could not be more clear. For starters, Trump didn’t clock off the job at 4:30 p.m. like Biden did every day of his presidency. He worked his backside off instead, signing an absolute ton of executive orders and actions to begin implementing his America first agenda.
And if that’s not enough, at a time when Biden would have been long tucked into bed, President Trump was partying the night away. Pretty sure this guy has more energy than I do and I’m almost 4 decades younger. He’s incredible.
According to Breitbart, video was taken featuring Trump celebrating his inauguration at a ball held on Monday evening by doing his trademark dance to “YMCA” by the Village People, only this time, he was holding a sword.
We are so back.

If I time traveled 10 years backwards & told myself that I would live to see the President of the United States cut a cake with a sword & then swing the sword during a dance to YMCA I would think I was on drugs. https://t.co/DNEoPk5FBu

Now, lets compare this level of energy and enthusiasm to Biden, shall we?
According to a report from CNN, back in 2024 during a meeting with Democratic governors, the White House revealed they were planning on no longer scheduling events after 8 p.m. in order for the former president to get more sleep. Biden’s not that much older than Trump. Let that sink in for a moment. This was clearly an indication this man was not physically and mentally well and should not have been serving as our commander-in-chief.
The remarks, first reported by The New York Times, came as the 81-year-old Biden sought to reassure a group of more than 20 state leaders about his ability to defeat former President Donald Trump in November and govern effectively for another four years. Bidenâs comment left several of the governors in the room frustrated, sources told CNN, and is one of the reasons that some of the participants have been rankled by the statement of loyalty and enthusiasm from them distributed by the Biden campaign on Thursday.
The White House did not immediately comment about what the president said. A Biden campaign aide argued that, as well as doing debate prep in the week after his two trips to Europe, Biden was engaged in hours of official work in addition to the hours of campaign work.
âPresident (George W.) Bush went to bed at 9, and President (Barack) Obama made dinner at 6:30,â Biden campaign spokesperson Kevin Munoz went on to say. âNormal presidents strike a balance, and so does Joe Biden. Hardly the same rigor as Donald Trump, who spends half of his day ranting on Truth Social about plans that would cause a recession and the other half golfing.â
Biden also made a joke to the governors that didnât go over well: âIâm fine â I donât know about my brain, though.â Jen OâMalley Dillon, Bidenâs campaign chairwoman, said the president was âclearly making a joke and then said, âAll kidding aside.ââ
It wasn’t a joke. This was clearly a slip of the tongue. For the first time in a long time, Biden told the truth.
Thank God Trump is our president now.
