Former Assistant FBI Director Chris Swecker recently made an appearance on “Mornings with Maria” on Fox News where he dropped a bombshell statement concerning the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump that took place over the weekend at Trump International Golf Club located in Palm Beach, Florida. According to Swecker, 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, the would-be assassin, might have been given “inside information” he received from a “3rd party” to determine the former president’s whereabouts on the day of the shooting.
A truly terrifying thought that would mean someone who is likely on the security team for Trump is either wittingly or unwittingly passing along critical information that is not meant to be released for the public that is now being used by crazed leftists to try and kill a presidential candidate and former commander-in-chief. If we can’t keep Trump safe, how much is our nation failing when it comes to national security for the whole country?
“I want to know how that person knew to be there, at that golf hole, at that time, that day,” Swecker commented in a video that was posted to social media platform X. We also need to know how the Secret Service could possibly allow yet another assassin to come within hundreds of yards of Trump for the second time in 90 days. Have no changes been made to provide him with additional security? Why are perimeter sweeps of his whereabouts not being done on a routine basis? If they are being done, how are they missing these guys?
“At a press conference on Sunday, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw told reporters that the would-be murderer had hidden himself in shrubbery on the perimeter of the golf course between three and five hundred yards away from Trump. The USSS has already come under intense scrutiny for allowing Thomas Matthew Crooks to fire eight shots at Trump from a nearby roof outside a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, wounding the former president and killing rallygoer Corey Comperatore,” The Western Journal reported.
What really makes this second attempt disturbing is that, unlike the Butler rally, Trump’s whereabouts on Sunday were not made known to the public. His playing golf at his own establishment was not advertised.
“He’s either surveilling Donald Trump or he received some inside information,” Swecker remarked concerning Routh. “That’s pretty sinister if that’s the case because that implicates a 3rd party either wittingly or unwittingly.”
Retired FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker questions if the suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, was given “𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” about President Trump’s whereabouts on Sunday afternoon.

Swecker implied, of course, that someone close to Trump might have shared the former president’s whereabouts with the would-be assassin. Either way, the question of how this could have happened again undoubtedly has left Trump’s loved ones anxious and angry.
“You know what’s getting really old? Having to have conversations with my 5 young children about radical leftist trying to kill their grandfather. No person should ever have to do this in America or anywhere else and yet I had to have that conversation five times again yesterday,” Donald Trump Jr. stated in a post Monday on X.

For years, the radical left has been hammering on Trump, attempting to make him look like a “threat to democracy,” with constant comparisons to Adolf Hitler sprinkled on top. When you do this for almost 10 years straight, non-stop, and people who are ruled by emotions are consistently consuming these narratives, violence is bound to happen. Will the media ever admit its culpability in these attempts on Trump’s life?
I wouldn’t hold my breath.
