GOP Gov. Greg Abbott Goes Totally Savage On Biden Over Border Visit

Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott went totally Super Saiyan (that one is for you Dragon Ball Z fans out there) on President Joe Biden during his visit to El Paso over the weekend to take a peak at the border crisis, which his garbage immigration policies caused. It seems pretty clear that Abbott has been waiting a long, long time to rip into the president face-to-face over his failure to do the job of the executive branch and enforce the immigration laws we have on the books in order to bring this crisis to an end.

According to The Daily Wire, Abbott shared his thoughts on the meeting during the “Sunday Morning Futures” program on Fox News, which is hosted by Maria Bartiromo.

“Biden is there today to look at a sanitized El Paso so that he can do all he can to help and aid the illegal immigrants as opposed to stopping them from coming into our country,” he stated.

“Abbott’s criticisms also come after authorities in El Paso removed migrant encampments ahead of the president’s planned Sunday visit. Cleanup occurred at the city’s downtown bus station and at the shelter near Sacred Heart Church, according to a report by the New York Post,” the report said.

The report then stated that a total of six buses, carrying mostly Venezuelan migrants, left the city into Mexico’s Ciudad Juarez, along with a police escorting a bunch of other migrants back to Mexico along a pedestrian crossing.

Former Congresswoman Mayra Flores, a Republican, slammed the city’s attempt to get rid of the migrant camps before Biden came for his visit. Which, of course, was to help back up his claims that things down along the border aren’t really all that bad. Such a claim would enable him to justify continuing to ignore the issue, allowing the leftist plan of open borders to keep going so the Democratic Party can mess around with our demographics and swell its voter rolls just in time for the 2024 election.

“Why not show him what our border community and law enforcement officials are dealing with on a daily basis?” Flores went on to ask.

The National Border Control Council also spoke out against the changes that were to be made before Biden’s visit in a post shared on Twitter last Friday.

“El Paso being cleaned up as if nothing unusual ever happened there. Just in time for Biden’s ‘visit to the border,” the group stated in a tweet. “We suggest just landing in Des Moines, Iowa and telling him it’s El Paso. He’ll never know the difference.”

Brandon Judd, the President for the National Border Patrol Council, made an appearance on Fox News on Saturday that Border Patrol agents are feeling down in the dumps over the approach being taken by the president.

“We’re beyond frustrated that it’s taken him two years. We’re beyond frustrated that he allowed this issue to get as bad as it is,” Judd remarked. “He’s not coming to the border of his own accord. He would have done that a long, long time ago.”

Judd then stated that he thinks Biden is coming down to the border due to all the pressure he’s receiving from the media and from a few of his Democratic colleagues, including Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City. Adams has been a vocal critic of the handling of the border crisis by those in our nation’s capital.

“Biden’s latest announcement concerning migrants includes a plan to allow 30,000 people per month from Venezuela, Haiti, Cuba, and Nicaragua to enter the U.S. The policy would also expand Title 42 expulsions to include all four countries,” the Daily Wire report said. “Opponents argue that the changes provide no real solution to migrants crossing the border. The Biden plan instead switches the numbers around while failing to lower the number of overall migrants entering the U.S.”
