You can’t turn on a brand new show or movie from any of the major studios or streaming services these days without being bombarded by LGBTQ propaganda. Given how small said group is in the overall population, you might be wondering why the left is pushing so much “inclusive” content down the throats of viewers and subscribers. Well, the most obvious answer is that the radical left is attempting to normalize acts of sexual deviancy. They want you to believe homosexuality and transgenderism are normative and should be embraced. Doing so destroys the nuclear family unit that all civilized free countries are built upon. If you want big government to be the foundation of your society, you have to destroy the family unit.
A new report from the Daily Wire has revealed which two big streaming platforms created the most LGBTQ content for 2022, and it’s pretty much exactly who you thought it would be. Disney and Netflix. What’s so egregious about all of this is that the vast majority of content being produced by Disney is supposedly “family entertainment” aimed at children. Yet they are filling it full of sexual identity politics to indoctrinate your children, make them look at you as old fashioned and outdated, so they will undermine you and become a statist slave.
Here’s information from the DW report:
Netflix and Disney are responsible for pushing the gay agenda and creating the most LGBTQ content in Hollywood for movies in 2022, with an overall 8% increase over the prior year. GLAAD’s Annual Studio Responsibility Indexwas released on Monday and showed that of the top 10 major motion picture studios that were analyzed, Disney and Netflix far exceeded the rest with more “LGBTQ-inclusive” content and woke films released between January 1 and December 31, 2022, than all the rest.
The top 10 studios the group looked at were A24, Amazon Studios, Apple TV+, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Paramount Global, Sony, The Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros. Discovery, and their subsidiaries.
So how in the world does GLAAD decide what is enough inclusivity or how much inclusivity a movie or television show includes? The organization employs the use of what is known as “The Vito Russo Test,” which provides the following criteria for a movie to be judged against:
- The film contains a character that is identifiably lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer.
- That character must not be solely or predominantly defined by their sexual orientation or gender identity (i.e. they are comprised of the same sort of unique character traits commonly used to differentiate straight/cisgender characters from one another).
- The LGBTQ character must be tied to the plot in such a way that the character’s removal would have a significant effect, meaning the character is not there to simply provide colorful commentary, paint urban authenticity, or set up a punchline. The character must matter.
- The LGBTQ character’s story must not be outwardly offensive (avoids defaulting to well-known tropes or stereotypes with no further development). In films with multiple LGBTQ characters, at least one character must pass this point for the film to pass the test.
According to the folks over at Bounding Into Comics, “Responsible for the increasing push of gay, transgender, and non-binary content produced for big and small screens across the world, GLAAD CEO Sarah Kate Ellis is the face and voice behind Hollywood’s largest LGBTQ lobby.”
“Of the 350 films released theatrically and on tracked streaming services by the ten distributors counted in 2022, 100 (28.5 percent) were LGBTQ-inclusive,” GLAAD stated in their most recent report.
The Walt Disney corporation ended up with a score of 41 percent due to featuring 24 movies stuffed full of woke propaganda designed to normalize deviant sexual behavior, out of a total of 59. Netflix ended up with a 22 percent rating.
In other words, if you want to avoid filling your head — or your child’s — with woke propaganda, you should probably cancel your Disney+ and Netflix subscriptions pronto. After all, the money you send them each and every month is being used to fuel the production of films and television series by people who clearly hate you and your values.
