The individual who is currently known as “Whistleblower X,” an agent who works for the Internal Revenue Service’s investigations division, has released an opening statement just ahead of testimony due to be given on Wednesday afternoon in front of House lawmakers. No doubt, President Joe Biden and his troubled younger son, Hunter, are both sweating bullets over what is about to be said. Will it matter in the end, given our “two-tiered” system of justice? Hard to say at this point.
According to a report from the Daily Wire, “Whistleblower X and Gary Shapley, who worked as an IRS supervisory agent on the agency’s investigation into Hunter Biden’s tax affairs, will testify before the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability on Wednesday at around 1:00 p.m.”
“I have witnessed the corrosion of ethical standards and the abuse of power that threaten our nation. It is within this context that I have chosen to shed light on these actions and expose those responsible. I recognize that while I was present at the start of this investigation and was closely involved with the investigation for roughly five years — that I am just a part of the story,” the planned opening statement from the whistleblower goes on to say. “My aim is to address systemic problems that have allowed misconduct to flourish. It is not a call for blame but a call for accountability and reform.”
The actual identity of Whistleblower X is set to be revealed during the testimony, where both of the individuals who have come forward from the IRS are expected to divulge information concerning investigations into the alleged influence peddling scheme pushed by the Biden family, along with how Hunter Biden himself has been treated by the DOJ. The whistleblower also stated that he had worked for the agency since 2010 and was “risking his career” by stepping forward and testifying.
“I believe that the Delaware USAO and DOJ-Tax have a clear target on me and my supervisors back and I believe that they are just waiting for an opportunity to pounce on us. My own agency retaliated against me and threatened me with criminal conduct in response to an internal email I sent to IRS leadership, even after years of essentially being left on an island when it came to this investigation,” he wrote in his opening statement.
If a person is testifying and they are taking a huge risk by doing so, it’s highly likely what they have to say is both true and accurate, otherwise, they wouldn’t be coming forward. Whistleblower X is a man who clearly has a set of principles and morals and he wants to remain loyal to them even if doing so comes at a great cost. That’s admirable.
“He also disputed several statements made by U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who is in charge of the Hunter prosecution case, saying that Hunter should face more serious criminal charges,” the Daily Wire said.
“If the Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss followed DOJ policy as he stated in his most recent letter, Hunter Biden should have been charged with a tax felony, and not only the tax misdemeanor charge. We need to treat each taxpayer the same under law,” Whistleblower X said.
The statement also went on to express concerns over the investigation into Hunter Biden being carried out in the state of Delaware due to the reputation the Biden family earned there. He then revealed that during the investigation there were several instances of probable cause uncovered, yet no search warrants were conducted. He also pointed out that his bosses were very hesitant to interview members of the Biden family who were connected to the case due to the potential of landing in “hot water” for speaking with Joe Biden’s grandchildren.
