Ohio Republican Sen. JD Vance, former President Donald Trump’s 2024 running mate, gave an explanation for why he doesn’t make use of a teleprompter and in the process, he took a big shot at Vice President Kamala Harris. What he said was both hilarious and brilliant. This is exactly the kind of campaigning that, while rough, is what the GOP needs to do in order to bring more voters on board with their agenda. Those on the left will, inevitably, refer to what Vance said as both “weird” and “mean,” however, that does not change the fact it’s true.
Vance stated that he doesn’t need to use a teleprompter because, unlike Harris, he has thoughts in his head and doesn’t need to be reminded constantly of what he’s supposed to say or talk about. That, ladies and gentlemen is what I like to call a sick burn. My only response is, where’s the lie? Well?
There isn’t one. What he just said is the straight truth.

via The Daily Wire:
“Where’s your teleprompter?” someone in the audience reportedly shouted to Vance. “Ma’am, I don’t need a teleprompter. I’ve actually got thoughts in my head, unlike Kamala Harris,” Vance shot back, and the crowd roared.
The Ohio senator has been taking the fight directly to both Harris and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), since President Joe Biden was forced out of the race by his own party, making Harris the de facto nominee just over one month ago. During that time, Vance has repeatedly pointed out the fact that Harris — because she is the sitting vice president in the Biden-Harris administration — could already be working to fix the problems she claims she will start fixing “on day one” of a Harris-Walz administration. “Day one” for Harris, Vance explained to a Michigan crowd last week, “was 1300 days ago.”
Vance has also criticized Harris for failing to take questions from the press, at one point approaching the reporters waiting by her plane for her to snub them yet again. He explained at the time that he was just coming over to check out Air Force Two because it might soon be his plane — and joked with reporters that he would take questions when she would not.
Harris has agreed to an interview a whole month after actually becoming the de facto nominee for the Democratic Party. However, she’s sitting down with Dana Bash of CNN, which means she’s going to be tossed a bunch of softball questions and will feel right at home during the whole conversation. Not to mention her veep pick, Tim Walz, will be there to hold her hand through the whole event.
At the end of the day, we know Harris is a train wreck in every conceivable way. We just need an avenue to show this reality to the rest of the country. Hopefully, that will be her debate with Trump.
