One of the big talking points that Vice President Kamala Harris used on a regular basis throughout her presidential campaign was that if Donald Trump was elected president, it would spell the end of our “democracy.” Never mind the fact we don’t actually have a democracy, but a constitutional republic, but that’s not the point. She basically meant that Trump winning would be like a fascist dictator winning, like if Adolf Hitler took over the United States or someone like Kim Jong Un.
But, as we all well knew, that’s not true at all. She apparently knew that too because she more or less admitted that talking point was a total lie when she delivered her concession speech on Wednesday.
While taking the podium in front of a crowd of her supporters at Howard University, who looked as if they were attending a funeral as they bawled their eyes out in mourning, Harris promised there would be a peaceful transfer of power for President-elect Donald Trump and then went on to promise that while she’s conceding the race, she’s not conceding the fight for progressive goals.
However, it was when she said that despite Trump getting elected, “everything was going to be okay.” Um, that’s not what Harris and the media said for months on end. No, they promised that if Harris lost, it would spell the end of our country and our liberty. She basically admitted with that line that she was lying the whole time.
“To the young people who are watching: It is okay to feel sad and disappointed, but please know it’s going to be okay,” Vice President Harris stated during her speech.

via The Western Journal:
That’s one of the few true statements the woman has spoken over the course of campaign not exactly marked with clarity. With Harris and President Joe Biden being shown the door, the country has a chance to get back to the successful years of the first Trump administration. After the disastrous experience of the Biden-Harris administration, “it’s going to be OK” is a remarkable understatement. But the bigger point is that this is coming from a political candidate who cast her opponent as an authoritarian whose return to power would mean the light of freedom going out all over the United States.
To the Harris campaign and its supporters, Trump was the return of Adolf Hitler, and his supporters were literally Nazis (when they weren’t “garbage,” that is). All of that was parroted in the liberal media. The New York Times turned in its usual libelous performance with pieces carrying headlines like “Amid Talk of Fascism, Trump’s Threats and Language Evoke a Grim Past.” MSNBC’s Chris Hayes jumped in, too, of course.
If it’s true that Trump is a fascist — it’s not, quite the opposite actually — or that Nazis are taking over American cities, things aren’t going to be okay. Not at all. So to say the opposite, you are admitting it was just empty rhetoric to scare people into voting for you. Despicable.
Just think. If she lied about this, what else did she fib about?
