If there’s one thing die-hard leftists simply cannot stand, it’s being called out and held accountable for the things they say and do. A good case in point is White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre who was called out by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy and simply could not handle the heat he was bringing. Doocy cornered Jean-Pierre and asked her a question concerning the second assassination attempt made on the life of Republican Party presidential nominee former President Donald Trump.
Jean-Pierre proceeded to do what liberals do best, which deliver a long-winded lecture saturated in virtue signaling and victim blaming.
Here’s more from The Western Journal:
At the briefing, Doocy’s question was pointed — and on point. When, he asked, will the Biden White House and Democrats stop beating the war drums against Trump by repeating ad nauseam the spurious claim that he’s a “threat” to American democracy?
“It’s been only two days since somebody allegedly tried to kill Donald Trump again, and you’re here at the podium in the White House Briefing Room calling him a ‘threat,’” Doocy said during the briefing. ”How many more assassination attempts on Donald Trump until the president and the vice president and you pick a different word to describe Trump other than ‘threat’?”
KJP didn’t really answer the question, but delivered a diatribe that later got her labeled “evil.”
First, she said she disagreed with the implied premise of Doocy’s question — that President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harrisk, and KJP herself had fed the anti-Trump hatred that infests the American left. She then cited Biden’s endless denunciations of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incursion and the 2022 attack on the husband of then-House Speaker Paul Pelosi as examples of Democratic efforts to tone down political violence (along with an obligatory phone call from Biden to Trump after the July 13 assassination attempt). None of that was particularly relevant to the question at hand, which is a problem. But it was an even bigger problem when she said it was “dangerous” for Doocy to be even asking the question.
“And now for you to make that kind of comment in your question — because it — your question involved a comment and a statement — and, you know, it is — that is also incredibly dangerous when we have been very clear in — in condemning political violence from here,” KJP said, according to the White House transcript.
Let me see if I got this right. It’s “dangerous” for a reporter to ask what most of us would say is a legitimate question of an individual whose sole job is answering questions on behalf of the commander-in-chief? Come again?
Well, folks on social media weren’t buying what Jean-Pierre was selling.
In asking a question about the admin's use of the word "threat" to describe Trump, KJP accuses Doocy of being "dangerous" for asking the question! https://t.co/dgJvKlDtW9

Conservative commentator Nick Sorter called the response “evil.” Conservative comedian Tim Young commented that whatever else KJP said, she’s “intentionally dog whistling psychopaths to keep trying.”
🚨 Fox’s Peter Doocy just ROASTED Karine Jean-Pierre for her and the White House’s continued violent rhetoric, and KJP got TICKED 🤣

Karine Jean-Pierre called President Trump a threat to democracy AGAIN today…
Because she's intentionally dog whistling psychopaths to keep trying.

Truth of the matter is, a lot of liberals out there are perfectly okay with violent, dangerous rhetoric being used by those who are opposed to Trump and his followers. And they are also perfectly okay with violent actions being the response to such rhetoric, no matter how many times they might attempt to “condemn” the crazy suckers trying to kill the former president.
At the end of the day, liberals believe that humanity can be perfected and that it is inherently good and capable of greatness. Out of this view, which does not jive with reality — humanity is sinful, broken, and without God is incapable of achieving perfection — comes the belief that if they just got rid of Trump, people would no longer be misled and the fake danger they perceive would be over.
They don’t believe there is a movement of Americans behind Trump who actually believe in the founding principles and in the idea of putting your own country and its needs first.
These are all points the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro made clear in a recently published op-ed.
We all know if something happens, heaven forbid, whether by natural causes or otherwise, to Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, the left is a whole movement. Someone will just take their place. If we want to affect real change, we have to win hearts and minds ideologically, not through violence. Now, if we could just get the left to believe this, maybe we could cool things off.
