Soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump has rejected the offer of a meeting with current First Lady Jill Biden, which was supposed to happen on Wednesday when her hubby President-elect Donald Trump was going to sit down with President Joe Biden. Sources who are close to Mrs. Trump say that the reason she shot down Biden’s offer is due to the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. Ouch. Well, you know, I can’t really say I blame Melania. That was an egregious violation of rights and an absolute weaponization by the Biden-Harris administration of the bureau to dig up dirt on the now president-elect in order to remove him from the 2024 playing field. It ultimately failed. Miserably.
However, one cannot blame the new first lady for bearing a bit of a grudge. She clearly wants nothing to do with the people who wronged her family and brought so much misery down upon them. And I think that’s totally understandable. Melania did, however, accept Michelle Obama’s invitation for a tour of the White House when Trump was elected in 2016.
“She ain’t going,” a source went on to say in comments given to The New York Post. “Jill Biden’s husband authorized the FBI snooping through her underwear drawer. The Bidens are disgusting. …Jill Biden isn’t someone Melania needs to meet.”
The FBI executed a search warrant and raided the Trumps’ Florida Mar-a-Lago residence on August 8, 2022, as part of its investigation into Trump’s handling of presidential documents. Mr. Trump was at Trump Tower in New York City at the time. In September, Melania Trump posted a video on X in which she quoted the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which states, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated …”
She followed by stating, “I never imagined my privacy would be invaded by the government here in America. The FBI raided my home in Florida and searched through my personal belongings. This is not just my story; it serves as a warning to all Americans, a reminder that our freedom and rights must be respected.”

Melania stated that the FBI “rummaged through my personal belongings.” Asked if that made her angry, she recalled, “Yeah, it made me angry. Yes. Invasion of privacy. The way it was done, I was really surprised. … I saw unpleasant stuff, that nobody wants to see it. And you get angry because, you know, nobody should be putting up with that kind of stuff. Some person, I don’t even know who, or how many people, they went through my stuff.”
A month after the raid took place, the president-elect got on his Truth Social account and said, “I’ll soon be heading to the scene of the unwarranted, unjust, and illegal Raid and Break-In of my home in Florida, Mar-a-Lago. I’ll be able to see for myself the results of the unnecessary ransacking of rooms and other areas of the house. It has already been proven that so much has been wrongfully taken, it is not a ‘pretty thing.’ So sad! The 4th Amendment, and much more, has been totally violated, a grave invasion of privacy. I will keep the American public informed on TRUTH!”
The confidential documents case that was brought against Trump as a result of the raid was dismissed back in the summer by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon.
