A new report from the folks at the Daily Caller has revealed that a female Secret Service agent left her post at former President Donald Trump’s latest rally in North Carolina, just before the event took place, in order to breastfeed a child. Not to be a jerk or anything, but maybe this is a good example of why women shouldn’t be involved in important security positions, especially those involving a former president and current White House candidate? I know, I know. That’s sexist. But the real question you haven’t asked is whether or not I care?
P.S.
I don’t.
The Daily Caller explained that the site agent, the person who is in charge of security for the whole event, discovered the agent breastfeeding her baby in a room that had been set aside for “official work” of the Secret Service, just five minutes before the former president’s motorcade arrived at the venue. The female agent, who was from the Atlanta Field Office, was not alone in the room either. She was with two members of her family.

How in the world did one of the greatest security forces on earth become so incompetent? This has been going on for years now, stretching back to when former President Barack Obama was office. During his administration, an individual somehow managed to get past layers of security and into the White House. What in the world has been going on in the agency?
🚨🚨EXCLUSIVE and BREAKING: During a Donald Trump visit to North Carolina yesterday, a woman Secret Service special agent abandoned her post to breastfeed with no permission/warning to the event site agent, according to three sources in the Secret Service community.

She and her family reportedly bypassed the Uniformed Division checkpoint and were escorted by a staff member, who was not cleared to be there, to the room, according to Crabtree. Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told Crabtree the incident did not affect the event.
“All employees of the U.S. Secret Service are held to the highest standards,” he stated in response to the incident. “While there was no impact to the North Carolina event, the specifics of this incident are being examined. Given this is a personnel matter, we are not in a position to comment further.”
Guglielmi is just going to have forgive for not believing a word he said about the agents being held to the “highest standards.” Keep in mind, the same agency made so many mistakes just a month ago that a person was able to shoot at a former president during a campaign rally. Now this? Come on, now. There’s no way these folks are being properly trained and vetted.
We need an exhaustive investigation into the Secret Service to get to the bottom of what’s going on there before someone loses their life. This sort of repeated incompetence is unacceptable and needs to be dealt with.
