President Donald Trump is a rarity among politicians. When he says he’s going to do something, he actually, you know, does it. This is revolutionary in modern American politics. It shouldn’t be, of course, but it is. Most will promise you the world during their campaigns and then basically collect welfare from the taxpayers while sitting in a cushy office while their aides do all the work.
During his presidential campaign, Trump promised he would secure the southern border and put into action the largest deportation operation in the history of our nation, all in order to ensure illegal migrants stop crossing in droves like they have for the last four years. The millions former Joe Biden allowed to come here have been causing crime rates all over the place to skyrocket. Innocent people have been murdered by those who have no legal right to be here.
The very day that Trump was inaugurated, a Vermont Border Patrol Agent was shot and killed by an illegal migrant during a traffic stop, according to a report from The Federalist.
So what actions has the president already taken to fix this crisis on his first day in office.

Right off the bat, Trump signed an order that declared a state of emergency at the southern border. This now enables officials working along the area to neutralize drones that are “within 5 miles of the southern border” and to put up physical barriers. Department of Defense officials are also directed by the order to send extra personnel down to the border, which includes members of the armed forces and the National Guard.
Within 10 days of the effective date of this order, the Secretary of Defense must deliver a plan to task military forces with “seal[ing] the borders and maintain[ing] the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security of the United States. This will involve “repelling forms of invasion including unlawful mass migration, narcotics trafficking, human smuggling and trafficking, and other criminal activities,” according to the order. The order states it is the “policy of the United States” that the military “prioritize the protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity” of U.S. borders.
Trump has announced plans to end “Biden’s catch-and-release policies” and reinstate “Remain in Mexico,” which Biden revoked. Remain in Mexico requires asylum seekers to wait in Mexico, often for months, for their immigration hearing in U.S. court. This policy makes the journey to the U.S. border less attractive for bogus asylum seekers. The policy is ripe for legislative action because Congress already knows what happens when the policy is in place or absent. Biden’s plan allowed so-called asylum seekers to download an app on their cell phones and essentially disappear, roaming the United States until their hearing date — assuming they attend at all. After Trump was sworn in on Monday, the CBP One app was shut off and all appointments were canceled. Cue the crying aliens, who have been warned this was going to happen. Trump has also announced plans to finish the border wall and deport illegal aliens.
Already with the crying migrants.
Sorry Legacy Media, it’s not going to work this time.
Secure the border. Mass deportations are coming. https://t.co/zFViyfa3sV

A huge move the president made was to sign an order that now labels specific gangs and criminal cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, which means those who belong to such groups and are caught on our side of the border can be removed from the country under the Alien Enemies Act. A horrific gang that’s been crossing into U.S. from Venezuela, the Tren de Aragua, will now be considered “an irregular armed force of Venezuela’s government conducting a predatory incursion and invasion into the United States,” according to an incoming White House official.
Trump’s order describes the cartels as having control, “through a campaign of assassination, terror, rape, and brute force,” of “nearly all illegal traffic across the southern border of the United States.”
“In certain portions of Mexico, they function as quasi-governmental entities, controlling nearly all aspects of society. The cartels’ activities threaten the safety of the American people, the security of the United States, and the stability of the international order in the Western Hemisphere,” the order goes on to state. “Their activities, proximity to, and incursions into the physical territory of the United States pose an unacceptable national security risk to the United States.”
This also enables the U.S. military to engage these groups and gangs, which should have the bad guys quaking in their boots. They aren’t ready for the a** whoopin’ our troops are going to bring down on them should they get out of line.
For at least four months, refugee resettlement will be suspended, the White House official said on the media call. Under taxpayer-funded efforts like the “refugee resettlement program,” refugees have received assistance including cash payments, medical assistance, job training and placement, loans to start a small business, language training, and food through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) program.
Illegal migrants are now ineligible for asylum, which will serve as a mass deterrent for those considering coming across the border. They won’t have anything to gain by taking risks to life and limb to get here anymore. Cut off incentives for bad behavior, the bad behavior stops.
And that’s only a handful of things the president did on his first day on the job. We’re so back, guys.
