Former President Donald Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, issued a warning for his opponents over the weekend, stating that the retaliation from him should he win another term in the White House will be “relentless.” Some might say that’s childish and vindictive, but I beg to differ. Trump’s enemies are our enemies too, and not because of some sort of strange, cultish loyalty to the former commander-in-chief. No, they are our enemies because they are using Trump as a proxy, a stand-in for each and every one of us. What they have done to him, the political persecution, intimidation, and constant weaponization of the justice system to silence President Joe Biden’s opposition, they want to do to us too.
Trump’s battling against the deep state, the propagandists in the media, and Democratic politicians seeking to stuff him behind bars is a war he’s fighting on our behalf, not just his own. The retaliation he will unleash on these enemies will be designed not for simple revenge, but for utter destruction. It will mean the end of the assaults against the American people, just as much as the end of the plots against him.
According to the Daily Caller, Habba delivered an address during Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference, spitting fire against the president and his administration while also defending her client. During the speech, Habba told those in attendance that the Presidential Records Act provides protection for Trump, however, this same protection does not extend to the actions of Joe Biden while serving as the vice president under former President Barack Obama.
“Because he wasn’t president when he took his boxes in six different locations; in Chinatown; in his car next to his son, who’s doing God knows what with God knows who,” Habba stated during the address, going on to make her case that the president should not be given the same presidential immunity. “But that is what they do. They hide what they’ve done by going after Trump. Look at the shiny ball, everybody. Don’t look at us.”

The Daily Caller is reporting:
The Presidential Records Act was established to structure how presidents manage and store official documents, according to the National Archives. Habba entertained the idea of being appointed to a position in the Trump administration to investigate Trump’s prosecutions, the outlet reported.
“That’s what they do. They hide what they’ve done by going after Trump,” Habba said. “Well, they’ve got one year and then we’re going to be looking at them. Deep and hard.”
“I’ll tell you right now, if I’m in Washington, I’ll be relentless too,” Habba said.
Special counsel Jack Smith asked the Supreme Court to consider whether Trump is immune from prosecution in his 2020 election case Dec. 11. The former president has been repeatedly indicted and faces multiple trials that could clash with the 2024 election.
One of the reasons so many people are pro-Trump is because they view him as a warrior fighting the system on their behalf. He identifies as one of us, the regular people, despite being a billionaire. And, strangely, somehow, it’s true. Trump has a lot on common with voters who are middle class. Unlike previous politicians, he does what he says he’s going to do. He doesn’t try to play nice. He gets his hands dirty and punches back.
This style of leadership has permanently changed the game of politics. More and more individuals are rising up, inspired by him, taking on positions within the legislative branch and other parts of government. It might take a while, but for once, change is in the air.
