Panelists on CNN, the world’s least trusted news source, were left completely stunned into silence, an unusual position for radical liberals to find themselves in, when a former spokesperson for former President Donald Trump refused to answer a “gotcha” question concerning the upcoming presidential election in November. The spokesperson actually called out another member of the panel for insisting that Republican lawmakers do that very thing. I guarantee you that same individual would sing a different tune if a Democrat was the one being pressured to answer that kind of question.
Mike Dubke, who used to work as the communications director when Trump was the president, called out Jeff Mason, a White House correspondent for Reuters, after the latter whined like a sniveling teenage wannabe TikTok activist when House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, would not answer if he would accept the results of the 2024 election. The host of the program, Kasie Hunt, along with Kate Bedingfield who was a former Biden administration official, argued over whether or not the question was a “set up.”

“I really have a problem with this question being asked over and over and over again of… of basically every Republican because it is a hypothetical,” Dubke stated boldly as a shocked Bedingfield interjected by asking “Why?” not once, but twice, her voice rising up a whole octave the second time, indicating she was headed for shrill harpy territory. She should be careful going into harpy mode. That’s the call of Hillary Clinton and her people.
“We go back to 2020 and that is a… that is a different election,” Dubke continued, according to The Daily Caller. “But in terms of this question being… being asked, I think it’s a set… frankly, I’m just saying it’s a set-up.”
What’s really hilarious is how other panelists were absolutely flabbergasted by the comments Dubke made. It really blows the mind of leftists when Republicans refuse to play their games according to their rules. They have no concept of folks resisting their mind games.
Hunt and Bedingfield brought up the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol building, arguing that Trump’s efforts to contest the 2020 election results made the question relevant.
“It wasn’t a question before there was a violent rally at the Capitol to try to overturn the results of a free and fair election,” Hunt went on to say during the segment.
“Trump himself has subsequently said that he will not accept the results of the election,” Bedingfield tossed in. “So I don’t know how that’s a hypothetical or a set up.”
Despite the pressure applied by both Hunt and Bedingfield, Dubke refused to back down.
“I do think at least part of what I’m trying to express here is that there is a segment of the population that hears those questions, and then they… they feel like, well, this whole thing is a… is a set-up to try to is a gotcha question,” Dubke fired back. “That’s all I’m trying to say.”
“I just want to say, as someone who was at the Capitol on Jan. 6, I do not find these questions to be at all hypothetical!” Hunt replied, more than a little shrill I might add, to conclude the conversation.
