A 33-year-old woman managed to break free from a 51-year-old Russian man’s home located in the village of Smoleno earlier this week after being savagely beaten and raped over 1,000 times for over 14 years, according to a story first published by the New York Post. I can’t imagine a more horrifying scenario. The pain and misery this woman had to endure staggers the mind. How can people be so sick and twisted?
According to a report from the Daily Caller, “Vladimir Cheskidov was reportedly arrested after his victim, Ekaterina, broke free. Cheskidov is set to be charged with murder, rape and kidnapping, per the New York Post.Valentina Cheskidov, Cheskidov’s mother, was also reportedly arrested. The 72-year-old woman lived with her son and his sex slave, Russian news channel 74.ru reported.”

The guy legitimately looks like a cave man. You know, like the wax statues of ancient man you see in a museum. And the poor woman in this case was victimized over and over again, forced to look at that ugly mug? Horrible. Simply horrible.
“Ekaterina reportedly said Cheskidov kidnapped her after she was invited to have a drink at his house because he was looking for a woman ‘who would likely not be reported missing,'” the report stated. “Ekaterina was reportedly trapped in a padlocked bedroom with barred windows since 2009. She was only allowed to exit to perform house chores like cooking, cleaning and caring for Cheskidov’s mother, all while being held at knifepoint, per the New York Post.”
According to the victim, if she made any sort of mistake, it would cause Cheskidov to lose it and beat her viciously. She was beaten in the head and forced to consume alcohol to the point that she was unable to remember how to contact her relatives. Authorities made a number of disturbing finds in Cheskidov’s home including sex toys, muzzles, pornography on discs, and more.
Ekaterina also went on to claim that Cheskidov stabbed his “wife,” a woman known by the name Oksana, killing her, after a dispute. The victim was then forced to help the man dispose of Oksana’s body. Police discovered human remains in the basement of Cheskidov’s home.
“Cheskidov reportedly cried during a Tuesday custody hearing. He said he shared a “mutual love” with his victim, per the Post,” the Daily Caller reported. “Ekaterina came from a low-income family and had a limp, according to her Telegram channel Shot. Her parents were dead, and it reportedly took her older sister nine years to report her missing.”
Fortunately, Ekaterina found her sister’s house, which was close by her captor’s residence, after she escaped. The sister then phoned local authorities and informed them about the crime, which led to the arrest of Cheskidov.
There are truly some sick people in the world. If Russia’s system of justice is decent — and I have no reason to believe it is — they would give Cheskidov the death penalty for his crimes. A man this evil is a danger to society and the only restitution for his crime is to forfeit his life.
